The Outsiders We Love & Hate
One position has a role to play and it just might make your blood boil because stopping is what they do.
In sport, the goal is to win by scoring points, goals, etc.
Coaches and players are always trying to figure out a way to win! But, there is one position that defies the goal of sports.
Not only does this position go against the nature of the game, there is only one per team – the keeper.
The Keeper
A lot can be said about the position, but I wonder what we have wrong, and right, about the people who put themselves in front of feet, balls, pucks, and sticks.
Why do they do it?!
Is there something wrong with them?
Do we have it all wrong?
Instead of the goal scorers and playmakers, are they who we should be praising and celebrating?
Let’s find out!
Join me as I speak with the players, coaches, refs, owners, reporters, parents, and fans to understand these brave, bold, and beautiful people who enrage us and send us into elation when they succeed.

How have injuries affected you?
What do you feel while watching?
